FIREWOOD
KILN DRIEDÂ FIREWOOD
Our firewood is now kiln dried using wood from the processing machine and timber that is classed as biomass and stored in barns at the farm within sight of Birchwood.
During spring and summer we kiln dry to around 75% dry and then bulk store, during winter we kiln dry to finish. ​

Our normal supply is mainly Ash (circa 95%) but other hardwoods of Oak, Silver Birch, Alder, and Sycamore may be found in the mix.
If you require a full load of ash or oak, please let us know.

Our standard firewood is cut to a length of 10 inches or 25-28cm.
We can also supply shorter 8" (20cm) or longer 12" (30cm) and 14" (35cm)

DELIVERY
Delivery included within 15 miles of Birchwood (HR1 4RN)
This covers most of South and East Hereford, including Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and across to Cinderford.

To avoid the use of any plastic we deliver with a tipping truck (Hilux 4x4) or trailer (4 or 5m3 loads) and do not use bulk bags.
